Cyanide, the movie which brought fame and name to its maker Murlidhar Halappa, dealt with the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi. It was critically acclaimed and commercially successful. So, after such a hard-hitting movie with a profound theme, it is quite natural that he took some time to finalize his next project.
Now, Murlidhar is back with his next project which will start in September. He did not reveal much about the story line except indicating that it will be another hard and in-depth movie as he does not want to disappoint the audience whose expectations are running high after watching Cyanide.
Murlidhar describes himself as a filmmaker who will not make commercial movies just for money and is particular that his films should have a social message. So it seems we can expect another movie which will become famous like Cyanide.
