Aithalakadi, the latest film in Sandalwood, found its launch function attended Puneeth Rajkumar and Darshan, two top stars of Kannada cinema. The film will be directed by J.G. Krishna under the Chitra Kuteera banner. Bullet Prakash and Rangayana Raghu have been roped in to provide the comedy element.

This mega budget film will have almost all top stars of the Kannada film industry. More than 75 artistes will be a part of this venture. It is believed that most of them have agreed to work for free in this film, and it may also have six top stars making guest appearances.
