A don from Mumbai comes to Bangalore. He accidentally meets a girl and falls for her. But the girl detests the don and leaves her home to escape from his clutches. On her way, she meets a guy named Baalaji, lovingly called Baaji by his friends for he loves to gamble. This is the storyline of the new film Baaji, which was launched recently in Bangalore.
This is the debut film of well-known serial director Shidlaghatta Srinivas, who has worked as assistant for many films directed by S. Narayan. Speaking to the press, Srinivas said the film, an action thriller, has been shot in extensively in Karnataka and Mumbai. Newcomers Alok (son of actor-director Kashinath) and Rani (who was chosen as the Best Smiling Face in South India in a Beauty pageant) are being introduced through the film.
Character artists Rangayana Raghu and Kishore also have important roles in the film.
