Ace director S. Narayan, who has a track record of making remarkable films featuring newcomers, is ready with his latest film Chaithrada Chandrama. His last two films Cheluvina Chithara and Chanda were blockbusters; in the new film, he is introducing his son Pankaj. So, all eyes are focussed on Chaithrada Chandrama, which is set for release on September 4. The heroine is pretty Amoolya, who made a memorable debut in Cheluvina Chithara.
A press meet was organized on Friday by Narayan to introduce his son Pankaj to the media. All the cast and crew of the film were present during the function. The film is written and directed by S. Narayan. Music also is rendered by the director. The camera is handled by Renu and dance direction is by Malur Srinivas.
Speaking at the function, Pankaj said that the role of the hero came as a surprise to him and he had never expected to don the role until the shooting started. It was only when the crew was about to leave for Srinagar to shoot the songs that his father disclosed that he has been chosen as the hero. Heroine Amoolya expressed her happiness in being selected again to act in S. Narayan’s film.
Director Narayan said this film is the toughest and most challenging in his career. Major portions of the film have been shot in Srinagar and Bangalore.
