Chikkanagaloora Chikkamallige, directed by Channagangappa, will be released on September 4th. The film holds much expectation for freshers Shravanth and Radhika Gandhi who make their debut through the film. Radhika Gandhi is the sister of the pretty Pooja Gandhi who has tasted much success in Kannada films.
The screenplay is written by director Channagangappa himself; the music and lyrics are by K. Kalyan. One peculiarity of the film is that it has used only Karnataka-based singers in the film, unlike the recent trend of bringing Hindi singers. There is a debate in the industry that Hindi singers are reducing the quality of Kannada songs.
J.G. Krishna is the cameraman; C.R. Simha, Vinaya Prasad, Avinash, Vijayasarathy, Karibasavayya, Sharath Lohithashwa, Bharat Bhagavathar, Vikram Soori and Rudresh are in the cast.
