The major portions of Circus, which are filmed inside a rented train are complete. Circus is the most cherished dream of director-producer Dayal who wrote the story of the film a decade ago. The story finally saw the light of the day when Golden star Ganesh agreed to act in it.
Speaking to the media, Dayal became emotional when he mentioned his pet project. “"The script was ready nearly a decade ago. Many people in the Kannada film industry knew that I had written this script with lots of passion and had even worked out the minutest details for the production design. But nothing was happening despite my best efforts. I had even contacted many corporates who were agreeable to make this film but were not agreeable for using a train. That was because getting the permission to shoot in trains and renting a train from the Indian Railways is not all that easy.” But Dayal was not to discard his dream that easily. During the shooting of Galipata for which he was the executive producer, Ganesh happened to listen to the story and agreed to do it. They took a train for rent and had to take many risky shots in the train and on the tracks, but everything went very well. Dayal is completely confident that the shots will look very thrilling on screen.
Archana Gupta plays Ganesh’s heroine and Emil is the music director. Shekhar Chandru is the man behind the camera. The rest of the film will be shot in Bangalore in a schedule of eight days.
