Devanahalli is a film about the illegal activities of land mafia in a place named Devanahalli. This quiet place, where people lived peacefully, becomes the centre of attraction when an international airport is commissioned to be built there. The film is about the loss of human relationships when land prices start soaring and the land mafia entering the scene with luring prices.
Two schedules have been completed and the rest of the movie is being shot at a brisk pace. Director Pallaki Radhakrishna is introducing several newcomers like Rahul, theatre artists like Udaya Munda, Sri Raghav, Udaya Sugriv, Vali Vidyarthi, Hanumanthu, Rajesh Burudekatte, Dr. Chakravarthy and Shravani. The film will also feature veteran artists like B.K. Shanker, Sadashiva Brahmavar, Manjula Badami, M.S. Umesh, Chidanand and Aravind.
The music is handled by debutante music director Prayog and he has come up with folk tunes composed in western style. The lyrics department is handled by Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar, Prof. Chandrasekhar Thalya, Pallakki and Rajesh Burudekatte. The dialogues are by Keshav Aditya and Rao Muthoji is the man behind the camera.
