Machcha with 6' 3" hero Jeevan will have not one, but three climaxes. The cast and crew are leaving for Egypt to shoot a song sequence for this high budget film. 90 percent of the shooting has been completed. Saritha Jain is the heroine; the producers are Sunil Parekh, Deepak Shetty and the hero; this is the maiden venture of the Metro Productions banner.
The 62 days shooting schedule covered several locations. One climax scene, shot in Bangalore Palace grounds with 400 cars and 20 trucks, cost 17 lakhs. The opening song sequence cost 26 lakhs; Hindi actress Sumana Chakravarthy appears in one item song.
Model-turned-hero, debutant Jeevan is very excited about the film. He admits that he was uncomfortable in song sequences but was comfortable doing all the other scenes. The film has all the commercial elements like action, romance and sentiments. Satyaprakash, Avinash, Besant Ravi, Bullet Prakash, Dharma, Ganesh Rao, Hanumanthe Gowda, Escort Srinivas, Ninasam Ashwath are also in the cast.
