It was the Vamshi team which first came up with the idea of advertising on buses.They got a few local buses painted with Vamshi posters. Puneeth Rajkumar was the hero and the team has reaped the rewards of this inventive idea. Vamshi is running successfully and is already termed a hit.

Now, following the successful example set by others is common. It is completely understandable if a producer want to repeat a formula which has already proven successful.  Now Bangalore buses have started carrying posters of Mast Maja Madi, which has Sudeep, Vijaya Raghavendra, Nagkiran and Diganth in the lead roles. Interestingly, Puneeth Rajkumar, who flagged off the buses which carried the Vamshi posters, flagged off the buses carrying the Mast Maja Madi ads too!!
