Dinesh Baboo has started work on his 27th film, Master, featuring veteran actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan and Suhasini. The film started shooting on the auspicious day of 08/08/08 at 08:08:08 hours.
The story of the film revolves around the mental trauma of a couple when their kid is kidnapped by a terrorist. The couple has a close relative who is the Home Minister. The kidnapper’s role is being played by Mukesh Rishi; Avinash plays the Home Minister. Baby Brinda and Baby Prerna appear in the kids' roles.
Dinesh Baboo is also handling the story, screenplay and cinematography. C.R. Manohar, who is a rose merchant, is the producer; V.Sridhar of Mussanje Maathu fame is scoring the music.
Talented and versatile actress Suhasini has acted with Dr. Vishnu before and she said in the launch party that it is a pleasure working with Director Dinesh Baboo and Dr. Vishnu.
Dinesh Baboo is regarded as one of the most intellectual and influential directors of our times. His career started as a cinematographer; he was the man behind the camera for several Malayalam hits like Dhruvam, Commissioner and King. He also directed the Malayalam film Mazhavillu. He forayed into Sandalwood in 1988. Till date, he has been associated with 26 films in his career.
