Kannada actor Sudeep is eagerly looking forward to the release of his Hindi film Phoonk directed by the famous Ram Gopal Varma. Sudeep considers this a fine opportunity to display his skills in Hindi films.
In a recent press meet, Sudeep disclosed that it was his eagerness to work with director Ramu that made him sign the film which deals with black magic and has the potential to scare people. Sudeep has worked 40 days for the film and feels that many facets of his talents have been captured by Varma. Phoonk will be scarier than Bhooth, he added.
Director Ramu, who was present during the press meet, praised Sudeep for his dedicated performance. He said that he had seen two of Sudeep’s movies and thought that he would be perfect for the lead character.
The film is set to release on August 22.
