Recently, there has been a sea change from action and gangster-based movies. There has been a slew of romantic movies based on love stories. The movie Sajni is based on the love story of a young girl and a boy who study together in London. Arrasu was based on a triangular love story.
Prem Dhare, an upcoming film that has completed its shooting is also based on a simple love story. The movie, directed by Anjan Kumar and produced by Shivaprakash, casts Suhas, Santosh, Bhoomika and Divya Sridhar in the lead roles.
Pallakki, a movie based on musical love story starring Prem of Jothe Jotheyali fame and Ramanithu Chaudhary, has completed shooting and is projected for April release. The movie is directed by Narendra Babu.
