Actor Sudeep will appear in a double role for the first time in his career in Veera Madakari. The film’s launch was held recently in a Bangalore hotel. Dinesh Gandhi, the actor’s good friend, is producing the film; Sadhu Kokila is the director.
Veera Madakari is a remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkudu and Dinesh Gandhi, who has directed a few films earlier, is turning producer through it. The Telugu version featured Ravi Teja and Anoushka in the lead roles.
The launch was attended by many noted film personalities, including KFCC treasurer, S.A. Ra. Govindu and actor Ambareesh. Pace bowler Munaf Patel, a good friend of Sudeep, along with some Karnataka Ranji team players, was also present at the function.
The film has a schedule of 80 to 90 days and shooting will start in August. The director has roped in excellent technicians including art director Dinesh Mangalore and fight choreographer Thriller Manju. The heroine is yet to be decided.
