Three films with different concepts are going to enter the box office race this Friday.
Ganga Bare Thunga Bare, a commercial romantic movie starring Prajwal Devraj, Sunaina and Gayathri, is produced by Bhojaraja Rai and directed by Sadhu Kokila, whose previous ventures were hit films like Raktha Kanneeru, Suntaragali, Rakshasa and Anatharu. Director Sadhu, who is also a comedian and music director, is pinning his hopes on this film. The cast also includes Bhavya, Bullet Prakash, Govindarao and Ramakrishna.
Jnanajyothi Sri Siddaganga is a devotional film that focuses on the Siddaganga Kshetra which has 700 years of history behind it. Story, screenplay, dialogues, lyrics and direction are by Omkar. Ravi Suverna and P.K.H. Das are the cinematograhers. Dr. Vishnuvardhana and his wife Bharathi don cameo roles in the film. Sridhar, Srinivasamurthy, Thara, Shivadwaj, Chetan, Vinayaprakash, Ramesh Bhat, Suchindra Prasad, Sunderraj, G.K. Govindarao, Guinness record holder Master Kishen and others are in the cast.
Thaayi, termed a revolutionary film, directed by Baraguru Ramachandrappa, is based on the Russian novel Mother, written by Maxim Gorki. Smt. Pramila Joshi plays the title role besides producing the movie with her actor husband Sundar Raj. The film has already won three State awards and recognition at the National level. Srinivasamurthy, Sunder Raj, Shanker, Mico Chandru are in the cast. Nagaraj Advani is the cameraman and Hamsalekha has scored the music.
