Mungaru Male was Ganesh’s first blockbuster movie of the year. Another Ganesh starrer creating records at the box office is Cheluvina Chiththara. The grand 100 day celebration of the film was held recently at Gayathri House, Palace Grounds and was attended by well-known personalities including, Raghavendra Raj Kumar, S.V. Rajendra Singh Babu, Bhagawan, S.A. Govindoo, Dwarakish, Hema Chowdhary, Ram Murthy, KFCC president Tallam Nanjunda Shetty, H.D. Gangaraj, K.C.N. Kumar, the theatre owners who screened the film, distributors, artists and technicians of the film.
S.Narayan, who also penned the script for the film, directed the movie starring Ganesh and Amoolya in the lead. Mano Murty scored the music for songs penned by S. Narayan.
