Veteran actor Ramesh Aravind made his debut as a director with Rama Shama Bhama. After gaining success as a director with his two comedy flicks, Rama Shama Bhama and Satyavan Savithri, he is back with his third directional venture, Accident, but this time he has chosen the genre of investigative films.
Accident, starring Ramesh Aravind in the lead, is a thriller based on a real-life incident. It deals with the aftermaths of a horrific incident that takes place in the life of the hero. The movie begins with an accident that occurs at a railway crossing and moves on with the investigations following the incident.
Rekha and Pooja Gandhi are the female leads; Rekha plays a bold girl fighting for justice; Pooja Gandhi plays a model. Director Dinesh Baboo apears onscreen in the role of a police inspector. Others in the cast include Mohan, Radio Jockey, Balaji Manohar, Rajendra Karnath, Rohan and Pati Iyer.
G.S. Bhaskar handles the camera and newcomer Ricky Kej scores music for the five songs of the film. A group of software professionals, Vishishta Productions, headed by G. Raghunath is producing the film.
The movie would provide edge-of-the-seat entertainment, keeping the viewers guessing throughout.
